Kensington & Chelsea Social Council are running a session for people who would like to begin volunteering in the community.

The event in their own words:

“Always wanted to volunteer but not really sure what it involves? Have a passion for your local community but not sure what to do about it? Come along to this free one-hour training where we discuss what to expect as a volunteer; what skills you have to offer but may be overlooking; what types of volunteering exist; and how to go about starting your own volunteering journey. You will hear from Angela Weir of VCKC, who brings her extensive knowledge of the volunteer sector and how to get you out there.”

This event is open to residents and local community members in Kensington & Chelsea.
