Who should attend: Health and Wellbeing Board members/policy and scrutiny committee members with an interest, Healthwatch representatives. This invitation is extended across Tri-borough.
The new Care Act is a complex piece of legislation that drives a new direction in the approach to care in its widest terms for local authorities. This event will inform you about the intentions and implications of the Act and help you explore the role of Health and Wellbeing Boards in its implementation. Attendees will have the chance to hear from an external guest speaker, as well as hearing from the local perspective.
There will be sandwiches and refreshments available for attendees.
