In October our Dignity Champions visited Hammersmith Hospital and assessed three wards: Fraser Gamble Ward, Handfield Jones Ward and A8 Ward. Overall the assessment reported positive findings about the three wards, particularly pleasing were the physical state of the facilities, the availability of information for patients and the approach of staff when interacting with patients. However we did have concerns regarding the quality of information given to patients about their discharge.
