Christmas at Chelsea and Westminster is taking place on Thursday 11 December from 4–6pm on the Ground Floor of the hospital. The event will begin with Chelsea Pensioners from the Royal Hospital Chelsea switching on their Christmas tree lights at 4pm. There will be entertainment from musical performers, including a regular favourite of their —Dick Laurie’s Elastic Band. There will be lots of entertainment for all the family including Santa’s Grotto run by their Council of Governors, face painting, teddy bear hospital, gingerbread decorating and much more. There will be many other stands providing information about their current developments at the Trust as well as stands from their Hospital Radio and Children’s Hospital Trust Fund, who will be there to answer any questions about their work for the hospital.
