People First will be raising awareness of carers issues and have been working with Carers K&C and the Carers Network in Westminster. They will be highlighting events, news and articles related to caring on the People First website.

What is People First?

People First is the core Information and Advice web service for residents, staff and fellow professionals, run by the Adult Social Care departments of RBKC and Westminster. They soon hope to be live in Hammersmith and Fulham as well. Their aim is to provide easy-to-use, jargon free and engaging information in a bright visual way that will help keep people stay safe, well and independent.

How they can help you:

• Publicise your services in their directory that shows the public what support is on offer locally
• Promote your events, services and organisation.
• Link to you within their content where appropriate

How you can help them:

• Publicise and link to them on your website and publicity materials
• Contact them with updates, events and news stories, and if you need any help
• Tell colleagues and residents about them, tell them what you think of the site!
