I called an ambulance about 9 p.m. on Friday, April 4th because somebody had fallen down the steps of St Saviour’s, Warwick Avenue and cut her head. We waited & waited and no ambulance came. Eventually, as the patient was getting cold, I decided to run the risk of taking her to St Mary’s in our minibus, as the hospital was not too far away.
