Calling all youth workers
International training project
The African Child is looking to develop an international training project for youth workers active in three boroughs of London: Brent, Hammersmith and Fulham, and Kensington and Chelsea. The training will support the professional development of youth workers, and will take place in the first half of 2015, most probably in Italy or another European country. It will involve 10 youth workers aged 18-30 and will be financed by European Commission through the Erasmus Plus programme.
In preparation of the funding application they are happy to invite youth workers from these three boroughs to take part in a breakfast meeting aiming to identify their training needs. The meeting will take place on Friday the 19th September at Moran House in Willesden.
Please confirm your participation by email at [email protected] until 15th September. Kindly send them your contacts including name, organisation, job title, mobile number.
As previous international projects have been very popular, they advise registering early to avoid disappointment.
The African Child’s mission is to enhance the quality of life of children and young people.
