Your Experience Matters
In April this year, we launched Your Experience Matters, our most comprehensive survey to date, in which we asked residents of Westminster and Kensington & Chelsea to share their experiences of the COVID-19 outbreak.
The survey was developed using feedback we had received from our communities about how the outbreak has affected them and their families in March and April. It is far-reaching in the questions that it asks, and the issues it seeks to highlight.
The response we have had from BAME communities
We have been analysing the results that we have so far received from residents in Westminster and Kensington & Chelsea who identify as Black, Asian or Minority Ethnic (BAME). These will be shared as a special report in the coming weeks, but today we are sharing some of the key findings that we have reviewed so far:
This is not a final report, and the survey is not finished. You can still take the online survey here, and download a printable version at the end of this post. Easy Read versions are also available for those who need them.
Clinical response to concerns
Imperial College Healthcare Trust have created this video to provide facts and to ease fears on a variety of issues that have arisen during the pandemic, The video was produced in response to feedback from BME Health Forum and local BAME communities.
We are committed to ensuring that the views, concerns, experiences and ideas of all local NHS service users remain central in discussions of their health and social care. You can find out more about how we are continuing to elevate the voices of under-represented groups through our local engagement here.
