Kingsmith Care, based in Lilie Road, Fulham, has been awarded an overall ‘Outstanding’ rating by the Care Quality Commission, the government body that regulates health and social care.
Kingsmith Care, started in 2011, works to provide care at home for elderly people in Hammersmith & Fulham. Their rating makes them among only 2% of adult social care services that achieve this standard.
Debbie Ivanova, CQC’s Deputy Chief Inspector of Adult Social Care said:
“Without exception, we received excellent feedback from people who used the service.”
Emma King, Company Director said:
“Our ethos is ‘every action matters’. We’re a small, local company where it’s really possible to build meaningful relationships with our clients. We’ve always thought keeping things personal is what makes the difference. We only work locally and all our staff live in the area. We’ve always thought this is the way to work and it’s good to have this confirmed by the CQC in their rating.”
“Kingsmith Care is a London Living Wage employer. We chose our carers carefully as the work is not for everyone. We do our best to look after our staff, which includes paying them properly for their work. If our carers feel looked after and valued, it means they are more likely to look after and value our clients.”
