Isolation and loneliness amongst H&F older residents

A new community-led commission is working to improve quality of life for older people in Hammersmith & Fulham.

The independent H&F Older People’s Commission is made up of residents, the local voluntary sector and healthcare experts.

It will focus on the three main areas older people say most concern them: loneliness and isolation, poverty and deprivation, and access to services.

The commission is asking older H&F residents aged 65 and over to give their views on loneliness and isolation in the borough and what can be done. It’s open until 28 January 2018.
