Deadline: Monday 19th November 2018 – 5:00pm
A new North Kensington Health Recovery Plan is being developed by the WLCCG. Key health themes have been identified from numerous meetings, publications, reports and formal engagement structures. This is the first stage before the full health recovery plan is developed. The health conversations should aim to inform local residents of North Kensington that the Health Recovery Plan is in development and engage local communities to contribute on whether the health themes have been correctly identified or need changing or restating to give it the meaning intended.
The conversation should take place from November to mid-January and we anticipate grants between £500 and £5,000.
Criteria and eligibility
The WLCGG is looking to hear from all North Kensington residents and communities.
However, priority will be given to projects by local not-for-profit community or voluntary groups, targeting:
- communities in North Kensington who would not traditionally engage on health matters.
- specific interest groups, women’s, children’s groups, faith groups.
- communities whose first language is not English, captured through audio-visual media.
Organisations offering technology innovative engagement for example through Vox Pops (short interviews captured through visual media) are encouraged to apply.
WLCCG will provide tablets already connected to the internet and already loaded with a short summary of the health themes to be reviewed as well as the online questionnaire to complete and submit automatically. The online questionnaire will also be accessible via other computers, laptops, tablets or phones via a link.
WLCCG is looking for organisations to engage residents in a number of ways to deliver these conversations. Organisations are free to use meetings and events that are already planned during the period. Some organisations might prefer to hold one-to-one sessions or focus groups. Others could use volunteers to ask questions at public events or venues.
WLCCG will also provide briefing sessions, printed and electronic copies of the health themes for organisations selected, to assist the completion of the questionnaire.
The deadline for submissions is 5pm on Monday 19 November 2018. Projects will start end of November 2018 and should be completed by the 14 January 2019.
Support is available for organisations that need help completing the form at firstname.lastname@example.org.
