Come along to the next Hammersmith and Fulham Diabetes Group meeting on 11th March from 6.00pm to 8.00pm . The next session is ‘Managing diabetes without anxiety’ with Esther Abo, West London Mental Health Trust, and is suitable for Type 1s and for Types 2s.
As with all the 2019 H&F Diabetes Group meetings, this session will take place from 6.00pm to 8.00pm. The meetings are all on the 2nd Monday of each month.
The meeting place is the Charing Cross Hospital, ground floor boardroom, Riverside Wing, Fulham Palace Road, W6 8RF. You can enter the hospital via the Riverside Wing entrance, which is approximately 50 metres to the right as you face the front of the hospital and the boardroom is the first room on the left. You can also reach it via the main entrance. Simply take the corridor immediately after Costa Coffee (which will still be open if you fancy a coffee!) signposted as South and Riverside Wing, go to the end and turn right again and the boardroom will be signposted. The main speaker will begin their talk at 6.30pm.
The Group is affiliated to Diabetes UK and sponsored by Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust. It comprises Type 1s and Type 2s, both newly diagnosed and those with many years of experience, together with partners, other family members, friends and carers. Membership is drawn from Fulham, Hammersmith and the surrounding areas. The purpose of the Group is both educational and to provide a place where you can meet other people with diabetes and share experiences. The Group meets 8 times a year. The 2019 programme is set out on the next page. There is an informal talk on a specialist subject from a wide and exciting panel of speakers with lively questions and discussion.
