Get involved! Help develop school based interventions to improve wellbeing quality standard
NICE are currently looking for people to join their committee for developing a quality standard on school based interventions to improve wellbeing.
They would welcome an application from those who have experience of interventions in schools to improve the wellbeing of children and young people. They particularly welcome applications from:
- Young people (18 years and older)
- Parents and carers of children under 13 years old
You will need to be able to contribute effectively in a formal committee setting. Their lay members are paid a fee to attend meetings and they cover travel and other expenses.
See the recruitment advert for details of what membership involves, the kind of experience and knowledge they are looking for, and how to apply. The closing date for applications is 5pm on Tuesday 1st May.
If you work for an organisation, there will also be an opportunity to:
- Tell NICE about the priorities for service improvement during the topic engagement exercise to inform the committee’s discussions at their first meeting
- Comment on the draft quality standard developed following the committee’s first meeting to help the committee finalise it at their second and final meetings
If your organisation is not yet registered as a stakeholder and wish to do so, please complete this short online form.
Registering as a stakeholder does not commit you to attending any meetings or other activity.
