The NHS Long Term Plan sets out a renewed commitment to improve mental health services and enable further service expansion and faster access to community and crisis mental health services for both adults, and in particular children and young people.
The North West London Mental Health Mental Health and Wellbeing Programme is holding a workshop, at the YMCA Indian Student Hostel on Fitzroy Square, to discuss the priorities for Mental Health in line with the NHS Long Term Plan. The aims of the session are to:
- Review the mental health, learning disability and autism priorities within the Long Term Plan;
- Reflect on the achievements across North West London to date and identify areas where more progress is needed; and
- Identify priorities for 2019/20 and beyond as well as agree key outcomes for these areas
Colleagues from CCGs, providers, Local Authorities and service users are encouraged to attend this important event to help shape the programme of work for mental health and wellbeing, learning disabilities and autism across North West London.
