Let’s Talk About Mental Health

We’d like to invite you to join us for a free ‘Your Health’ one-hour education seminar.
This is a chance for you to join other members of our Trust to find out about some of the most common mental health conditions and what are we doing to move beyond the stigma often associated with mental ill health.
Whilst there is greater open discussion and national recognition of mental health issues than ever before, we still have a long way to go.
During this session, Jonathan Lynch, our Deputy Lead Nurse for Mental Healthcare at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, and Lucy Keating, the Team Manager for the Psychiatric Liaison Team at Chelsea and Westminster and the Royal Marsden Hospital will provide an overview of the different types of mental health conditions which our patients so often experience, along with real-life examples of how we support and care for people who are experiencing such issues whilst they are inpatients at our hospitals.
Jonathan has been a Mental Health Nurse for over 30 years, and has worked in acute care, community, rehabilitation, (psychiatric) intensive care and secure services. Lucy has been a Mental Health nurse for more than 20 years working in both inpatient and liaison services.
When: Wednesday, 27 February 2019, 5-6pm
Where: Main Boardroom, Lower Ground Floor, Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, 369 Fulham Road, London, SW10 9NH
