Healthwatch Central West London has published its latest Enter & View report, in which its Dignity Champions returned to North Kensington care home Alan Morkill House.
The Dignity Champions were following up on the recommendations we made back in June 2017. During our most recent visit, the Dignity Champions found that environmental improvements had been made since our last visit to make it more dementia-friendly.
Activities are run daily, the staff are friendly, and the food is good. There remains some room for improvement, particularly with regard to the staffing levels at the care home and to the opportunities provided for residents to share their thoughts and views with the staff and management.
Healthwatch Central West London’s Dignity Champions have made some additional recommendations, which the Alan Morkill House management has responded to. You can read these comments by clicking for the full report here.
