The Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists (RCOG) Women’s Network is recruiting new lay members to serve a three year term beginning June 2018.
The Network is a dynamic committee at the heart of the College’s work, ensuring the public perspective informs its activities. Membership of the Network is a substantial voluntary commitment, but a chance for people who use O&G services to bring their insight and skills to improve the health of, and services and care provided to, people who use these services.
The Network also has a crucial role in steering the College’s work to meaningfully involve the public, in the areas of audit and quality improvement, guidance and standards, patient safety and education and training.
Meetings are held in London but some can be done virtually via video conferencing. Membership is voluntary but travel expenses are covered and accommodation is provided, when necessary.
They are particularly welcoming applications from people living with a disability, individuals from the LGBT+ community, and people from a BAME background.
