Our work across the three boroughs is shaped by listening to the public and engaging with our local committees.
Our local committees are a group of volunteers, including residents and representatives from local organisations, who work with us to:
- Review our work in each borough
- Share information
- Give feedback from patients and service users
- Set local priorities through engagement with local people in their neighbourhoods and at events and through online surveys, focus groups and wider public engagement
Who can join?
The committees are open to any members of the public who live, work, or use the health and social care services in Hammersmith & Fulham, Kensington & Chelsea, and Westminster.
Voluntary organisation can also join if their activity and involvement will contribute to achieving the objectives of Healthwatch Central West London.
The priorities that emerge from committee discussion are then shared with our Board of Trustees, and the three local authorities, via public scrutiny committees.
By working transparently we are able to support local authority commissioners to set priorities that reflect the health and social care concerns of local people.
If you are interested in the work of the local committees please get in touch with the engagement lead for your borough. You can find their contact details on the Contact Us page.
