The number of patients with diabetes is increasing nationally and locally. Currently, almost 130,000 North West London residents have diabetes – that’s over 6% of the population. With this in mind, Hammersmith & Fulham Clinical Commissioning Group is leading a programme of work to improve diabetes and pre-diabetes care across North West London.
They are looking for people to help them make videos to support people with diabetes. You might have ideas about content and creative style, or you might want to be featured in the video, or know someone who would.
These videos will help people with diabetes to manage their condition, so they are keen to work with people with diabetes to identify:
- Whether you, or anyone you know would like to be in a video about diabetes?
- What should the videos be about? What is the core message?
- How can the NHS in North West London, best use these videos to educate and motivate people with diabetes to manage their condition.
There will be two workshops in Hammersmith & Fulham, which Healthwatch Central West London will be helping to run.
- 30th June, 9am – 11am
- 5th July, 6pm – 8pm
If you would like to attend the workshops or learn more about the project, please contact Adam Foster (Project Support Officer) on 020 3350 4054 / firstname.lastname@example.org
The workshops will be held at the St. Pauls Centres in Hammersmith and places are limited.
